- Line of Reflection(mirror line): The line or axis over which the shape is flipped. It can be a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of reflection.
- Object: an object refers to the original shape or figure that is being reflected over a line or axis to form an image.
- Image: is an identical shape, created by reflecting an object over a line or axis.
